Welcome to our website - we hope what you see and read will give you an insight into what makes Burraton a happy and successful school.

We have high expectations of all our children and support every individual to make good progress. However, we want our children to enjoy school and fun is a high priority. We have learnt that high standards are achieved through a relaxed, friendly and disciplined ethos.

As a Thinking School we teach the children how to learn by providing them with strategies to develop their thinking skills and the attitudes to use them. This supports our vision for our children to be independent learners who are involved in decisions about their learning. When children leave Burraton they will have the skills, self-discipline and confidence to be a success.
