Burraton Friends of Burraton School
To date we have raised thousands of pounds which have been spent on improving equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education and the facilities in school generally.
Friends of Burraton School (FoBS) are also about much more than fundraising. We exist to provide closer links between home and school. It is also an excellent way of bringing our school family together, staff, parents and friends.
Any member of the school community can get involved! We are a friendly and flexible team and have raised thousands of pounds for the school. Being part of FoBS is easy! We mostly communicate via WhatsApp group; ideas are raised and voted on, then members choose when and how they are able to help. It’s not just about volunteering your time, you may have great ideas for us, or maybe you own your own business and can donate a raffle prize. There are so many ways you can help.
The more we raise, the more our children benefit!
Recently we have organised termly discos, Frozen Fridays (ice poles on sale after school) and our hugely successful Colour Run! Plus, we have so much more planned, including visits from Animal Encounters and our 2026 Challenge!
